I saw a display of Valentine’s Hearts amidst Christmas chocolates. Took a photo to send to my family. I have seen such before in December (though it was geared to dogs) but that was on the 23rd or 24th, this was on the 12th. It is getting ridiculous!!

I used to shop the clearance deals on Christmas stuff on the day after Christmas. Now they do the clearance sales in November!

That’s funny about money, they never get enough,
They sell and sell and sell every kind of stuff.
But never at the regular price. It’s always on discount.
So no matter the price at start, its never the same amount
As when it gets stacked on the shelves.
When asked why that is they blame Santa’s elves.
Merry Christmas to all and prayers for the New Year.

July is for Christmas, Labor Day starts the sales. By Thanksgiving the Valentines decorations are hitting the stores.

What about Groundhog Day? A holiday venerating a large rodent. Which many will do for the next four years.

Maybe we should set aside one day a month to celebrate everything.
