Bear in mind that the guy in the Santa costume is some old geezer from Snug Harbor who volunteered to be Santa because he has pink cheeks and a white beard and likes kids. Probably one of the guys who works at the transfer station, or maybe a fisherman like Wallace’s dad. God forbid he’s one of the people on the town council.

When he surfaces he will know that it’s one of the McLellan boys who did that.
