Microscope and chemistry set! Those are great gifts! The car is pretty cool, too.

Twenty years from now Marcy and Joe can take all those toys and create a museum of toys from the past, if their kids haven’t’ broken them by then.

I used to manage a toy store in the mall “Kay-Bee” don’t think we ever had that much inventory ever

What their kids have done to them? … how about what they’ve done to their — what they’ve allowed their kids to have.

Marcy must be making a TON of money, because they couldn’t buy all that stuff on a cop’s salary.

Unless the kids are buying this all, they did this to themselves.

At least they’re not staring at phones or tablets.

Relax dear Marcy, it’s all part of growing up learning new things how to fix and operate new ways to build stuff. It’s all good. Funny when we’re kids we WANT stuff but when we grow older, less is more.Really love this comic strip, it has good morals.

WHO bought all that stuff?? It wasn’t the kids.

Our only child was the firstborn grandchild on both sides. We tried to keep thing simple, but with two godparents, six aunts and uncles, and all four grandparents, restraint didn’t come easily. Usually we intercepted and hid some gifts till later.
