Nice try, Snowball! We obviously can’t end this without seeing Captain Nimble, er, that sailor cat, whatever his name is.
Since the Grumbling Room needs must remain open, the snack table are still in use. I would recommend light fare after all the feasting, but to each their own. (Mind you, if someone brings cheesecake, all bet are off!)
While I wonder if there is any amnesia that is not cryptic, I get the feeling we are about to get a story that will be about an amnesia more cryptic than the standard cryptic amnesia.
what does Snowball flip in the second panel? and should the Captain be wearing a tie in the third panel since he appears to be wearing on in the fourth? or is that something else?
So, is Snowbelle not just only fake dead but really most sincerely dead? Did the untimely helicopter crash happen after we saw her at the end of the first Our IX Lives Christmas special?
Whaaat? He found will lost at bottom of ocean? Not this just too preposteridiculudicrous. No way he find pieces of paper inside ocean intact. It just too convenient. Not that me is pay much attention to it that is. Say where be the foods room me no see it today?
Elvis-Anum: I think a snack before the evening naptime would not come amiss.
Beatrixia: Let’s go to the kitchen. You know that Thomios always leaves a few snacks out for impromptu noshing.
At the Royal Kitchen
Puckmosis: Looks like a few others have the same idea. Thomios made some cat-friendly chocolate chip cookies and cranberry orange scones.
Elvis: Just right for a late-night snack.
Lupinium: Nothing like a relaxing snack after testing me-proof shelving.
Bea: How did that go?
Lupinium: The shelves are still standing. I was going to ask Elvis about choreographing a shelf routine for me and the Getting Better Kittens Dance Group.
Elvis: Sure thing. We’ll discuss this in the morning.
Puck: Now time for a cup of tea and a long winter’s nap.
My sibling’s kids remembered me talking about “Breaking Cat News” so they bought me a naked Lupin tote and a coffee mug with the earliest version of the news crew on it. They will be enjoyed.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. Ours was quiet and wonderful. The cats loved the boxes, empty, of course, the ribbons, and especially the wrapping paper. And one of the stolen stuffed toys from the great-grandchildren. They stole Didi, the smallest stuffed toy.
Hope you all as lovely a day as I did, Novadaisy was the best hostess, she graced everyone with time on their lap!!! We had ten of us for Christmas dinner, nice old fashioned day X
Oh dear, I’m feeling logical. If the will was on the bottom of the sea, how did Captain Nimble find it or What was he doing on the bottom of the sea? Hmmm.

Ah, yes, cryptic amnesia. A close soap opera relative to subdural hematomas.

I like Nimble’s shoulder buddy, but dang it, now I’m craving shellfish. Does that make me a monster?!

Snowball is a really bad cat. He appears to be surrounded by really GOOD CATS. Now we need some justice for all the bad cats L&O

A crab on his shoulder! A worthy addition to Cap’n Eddie’s cat. (Non Sequitur)

Cryptic Amnesia sounds like a good reason for being Lost At Sea.

He’s had the will all this time? He’s just never shown it until now…
(And, in one version of how that’s meant, it took a year to dry.)

Is “dramatic music” soap-opera-speak for “musical sting at every cliche”? Also, is it possible Georgia might be making fun of something just a tad?
scyphi26 about 21 hours ago
Because it wouldn’t be a soap opera without some amnesia!

Captain be nimble,
Captain be quick,
Captain just started
An Amnesia shtick………………………..
I’ve thrown away my toys, even my drum and train
I want to make some noise with real live noisy things
Some day I’m going to sail, I’ll be a captain, too
And when I do, how would you like to be my crew?
OnTheGoodShipCrazyCat
It’s a sweet trip to a ocean spot
Where dolphins play
Near the sunny beach of Peppermint Bay
Lemonade stands everywhere
Crackerjack bands fill the air
And there you are
Happy landing on a chocolate bar
See the sugar bowl do the tootsie roll
With the big bad devil’s food cake
If you eat too much, ooh-ooh
You’ll awake with a tummy ache
OnTheGoodShipCrazyCat
It’s a night trip, into bed you hop
And dream away
