Walt should remember the commercial which told us why 1984… won’t be like “1984”.
- – - – -
Here’s the classic comics update for the 2nd:
In 1931, Walt gets a complaint from Sylvester’s mother. Sufferin’ succotash, he’s going to have to talk to Skeezix about this one.
In 1869, Hipshot takes care of a rustlin’ party with his usual professionalism. Though sometimes fate can throw the wrong amateur in front of your gun sight. Ruin your whole day.
In 1950, Brenda finds that Lance is, in fact, still hanging on in the wake of the shooting. Though getting help in the days before paramedics, much less “911” is making this situation particularly dicey. (And how much luck did this couple already use up when they went through the guardrail the night of the engagement?)
And in 1974, Adam has discovered the joy of 50,000 watt AM radio, in the Top 40, heavy rotation hits format. Just wait until he goes back to school after winter break and discovers “The Zoo Crew” on the morning bus.
Walt is turning 127 in 2025, Skeezix 104, Corky 97, Judy 90, Chipper 80, Clovia 76, Nubbin 72, Adam and Eve 65, Gretchen 47, Rover about the same, Ada 36, Amanda Lynn about the same, Gus and Kathleen just turned 32 on Christmas and Boog turns 21.

Looks like Me-Meow is missing her kittens.

It’s “science fiction” how Walt is not only still alive but walks on his own, if slowly, and is not tethered to an Oxy tank.

As corny as the gag is, I’m at least glad to see Walt again instead of those silly girls.
