I’m enjoying this arc, but homeowners’ association (plural) should have the apostrophe after the s; it wouldn’t be much of an association with only one homeowner.
Is there an Amendment to the US Constitution establishing the rights and obligations of HOAs? Their authority seems to be on par with your Supreme Court.
Why is Walt even a member of the HOA? The guy has lived in the same place for like 100 years, long before the people in the HOA were even BORN. Being in an HOA is usually a condition of purchasing a new home in an HOA infested area.
Also “You Can’t Take it With You”, but I understand Walt may be hesitant, because even he doesn’t know how long the Green Mile may be for him.

It’s a full classics update for the 9th with a double Sundae to enjoy:
You gotta love the King when he’s got a whole Sunday page to draw on, and he gets ambitious!
And Stan Lynde is no slouch when he’s in the mood to draw some nature scenes, and he can put in all those little trees.
That’s a pretty sad final panel in today’s installment, but the last panel we saw of Baby Hoo on November 28, 1946… the look on that kid’s face when she realizes Brenda turned her back into the orphanage once she had her story? Heartbreaking.
(This is the point where I was going to make the first post on the thread about 12:15am local, and the Sandman struck again… and I woke up around 2:30 with an overwhelming desire to get into an actual bed. At 8:15am, we continue :)
Now Eve is dropping shot after shot in as the hapless boys can only look on helplessly. Maybe poppa Corky is feeling some sense of pride as he watches another one swish through the net?
(The NCAA didn’t participate in women’s b-ball until 1982. In 1974 Immaculata University of Philadelphia beat Mississippi College 68-53 in the AIAW… Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women.. championship game.)

Someone’s out to get Walt. And I STILL think it’s that SOB who Walt and Mayor Melba thwarted last year. Right, Jim???
