Well, there is a Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) that causes feline AIDS. Fortunately humans cannot be infected by FIV and cats cannot be infected by HIV.
I never could understand how people could go and kiss their pets on the lips. Petting and cuddling, certainly, but lip kissing is just a little too much in my opinion.
