Transcript:
TV: Defense secretary Donald Rumsfeld reassured the public today that Iraq is a starving, demoralized country whose antiquated military will be no match for the technological might of the United States. He then went on to add that the U.S. must attack immediately, as Saddam Hussein is the single greatest threat to the continued existence of life on the planet Earth.

“Rumsfeld” - a one-word oxymoron.

So intent on revenge were we. If it hadn’t been for bloodlust, no dems would have signed on to this idiotic venture.

Ah, I remember those days. Bad times…and we’re still paying the price in blood, treasure and our reputation.
If only humans weren’t so easily manipulated by fear.

We were MANIPULATED! Wow, our whole culture has been refined to sell us things through TV and other advertising (seen any spam here lately?) and the science has become a major art form to keep the country revolving around the buck, then we are surprised when the pols use the same tactics to get us to go along with the most ridiculous things like invading someone for oil rights who can’t fight back because we’ve already starved their military out. American ego stroking has gotten it into a very deep pit and the people still haven’t learned to turn off the tap that started the flood.
