I’m finding this one very sad.

Combine the strip and the blog, and it’s hard to avoid a sniffle…. Plus, tomorrow is the first anniversary of my Mom’s passing.

You have my sympathy, Sisyphos. My Mom passed away about ten years ago, but I feel her in my heart, and I smile.

T., thanks for giving us more details about your thoughts on today’s cartoon. Your dad had a fun sense of humor.

That’s a sweet, funny keepsake that your dad left you, Teresa. I’ve had a few close family members (not my parents) pass on way before their time. So I know that time slowly erodes the memories, but that certain objects, photos and letters can help bring them back.

No but they do tend to lie around unless you dispose of them.

No dear, they don’t…

It’s easy to mistake when we try to interpret kids’ words and actions based on an adult model.

Thank you, keepsakes and memories they shape our lives.

Could somebody please explain that French comic to me? Even with the translation, it still makes no sense.

Also, am I the only one who’s noticed that the older couple’s shoes look just like the fish?

I did what I could. I know I may be missing something in the conversation, but even after I translated it, it still confused me.

Isn’t it kind of like “It’s not fresh? Hey, sister, take a look at yourselves!”
