I’ll take a martini any time of the day, as long as you make it with gin, and garnish with a lemon twist. I just can’t stand olives. Blargh.

I always thought that the 3 essential food groups were chocolate, strawberry and vanilla. Alcohol and caffine are just vitamins.

I like mine real dry, actually the Bartender can just kind show the Vermouth to the glass, maybe, just maybe open it and wave in the general direction of said glass, being extra careful to not get any of the Vermouth actually in the glass, MMMMMMMM MMM now that’s a Dry Martini.

Can’t stand Southern, but I’ve been known to have an occasional vodka/grapefruit in the summer. Very refreshing.

Always wondered why they mess up those well-balanced liquid meals with things like olives, celery, lemons, limes and other healthy stuff.

This explains why I like drinking so much. LOL

By the way my martinis of choice are a Tanqueray martini with a healthy splash of Laphroaig. If the bar doesn’t have that scotch then I will have a Martini that has had vermouth swirled through the glass and poured out then add the Tanqueray, served up with olives or a twist of lemon.

Wiley Miller has a history of libeling businessmen. He thinks he’s just making a joke. What other minority in American can be so slandered and hardly anyone objects?

The spelling is Daiquiri. The four food groups are: Meat that lives on land, meat that lives in water, meat that flies and chocolate. Everything else is what food eats.

Kremlyovskaya Vodka chilled to -10F with a whiff of fine sweet vermouth added for fun. A dram (no more) of lemon. Four pitted olives served in a frozen gimlet glass. After that, there are no troubles.

I forgot to say…I have seen it all now. I went into the liquor store a coupe of days ago. Now, I know flavored vodkas are all the rage, but this one has me ROTFLMAO. There is a vodka that is bacon flavored. It is called BAKON.

The fact that commentors here attempt to lump businessmen with politicians, televangelists, and others who have earned public scorn, just supports my point.

It is ultimately businessmen who bring you your food, housing, clothing, medicine, transportation, entertainment, and everything else that adds up to your standard of living.

A century-plus of anti-business propaganda from the Left has poisoned a country where businessmen were once heroes.
