10 MPH and 30 Degrees? Considering the clothes, I am guessing the 30 deg is Celsius, but where in the US do they use Celsius? Not that I consider it a bad thing, mind.

Just as an aside, do any of the kids in this strip have names other than Caulfield? I can never tell any of the others apart.

Curious… it wasn’t until I read that post that it occurred to me that the 30 degrees might refer to temperature… 10mph FROM 30 degrees kinda suggested a direction.

I believe it is directional, hence the comment from Frazz… Bologna is something many children enjoy (they have more sensitive taste buds) Personally I can’t stand it, but in some parts it is “gourmet”; and especially when they fry it (ick to me!)

I was tired of bologna by third grade.

Directions on a compass are marked out in degrees. 30 degrees would be just north of North North East (NNE). Frazz says that the park is South South West (SSW) of the BBQ, therefore the BBQ is North Northeast (NNE) of the park.

Love of my life asked me to make dinner. I replied, “Sure, I’ll make soup. Where’s the bologna?” Haven’t been in the kitchen for years.Department of Corrections believe bologna on white (no condiments) is the staff of life. Why do people return?

@DCWriter71, lots of them are addressed by name, but I’m not convinced any names come up more than once…

See, they told you there would be a use for trigonometry.
