@Chikuku ‘Consenting adults’ may be a problem for inter- species. After all Artie is only nine or ten which is way under any human legal age while he’s a great-grandfather by gerbil years.
It does make me think twice about the Lion lying down with the Lamb though. What’s the appropriate age of consent for sheep? Two years? Eighteen months? Any lonesome sheep farmers out there to give an opinion?
