Sir, an incident has occurred involving the recent maintenance hire... Oh my. He fell while repairing the parapet... Detached both legs and his right arm! Oh goodness no! No! This is horrible! Horrible! And it's all my fault! I... I'm such a fool! I take it you forgot to have him sign the workplace injury damage claim waiver before starting. Let's just pray he's a lefty and we can coax him to sign with his good arm...

Many cartoon characters are lefties (for reasons of POV convenience), but in Brad’s case I suspect it doesn’t much matter anymore. Is this the inglorious end of Brad Bivins, zombie?

According to Christopher Moore, in “The Stupidest Angel”, they slowly rot away over the years…so they can’t run as fast, sometimes they crawl pulling with their hands…not that they still wouldn’t eat your brain if they could. Oh, yeah, they also gossip a lot. Turns out they can hear what’s going on in the land of the living, so they know who’s sleeping with who, etc. And they talk about it among them selves…Hey, that’s the way it was in the book, so I know it’s true. It’s subtitle is "A Heartwarming Tale of Christmas Terror…. It’s a must read. It’s a Christmas tradition around my house….

It’s “waive liability” first, then think about safety.

This is so-o-o rich (pun was not intended)! The riding suit and crop for the rocking horse, the dismembered arm still holding the hammer, the lolling tongue, Jarvis’s wry expression…

Perhaps when Sedgwick can’t get Brad to sign they’ll resort to trying to “bring him back to health” to avoid other — more unpleasant — options. It’d be fun to see them try.

I’ll check the prices on eBay to satisfy my Moore bid curiosity.

there are pills to keep Brad working. Sedgewick could easily get them. After Brad scrawls his name.

While some people do not care for Master Sedgwick, I ONLY read this comic strip when he is in it! Can’t get enough. Adding a zombie is, for me, the cherry on the sundae.
