The “Boom” is the economy hitting rock bottom…

Or another “Boom” is the sound of trillions of dollars being poured into occupying and attacking Afghanistan and Iraq, thus keeping the U.S. economy from booming.

can’t come up with anything that doesn’t sound political so, since i can’t say anything nice i won’t say anything. maybe later.

Actually, a small group of people are doing very well in this economy. It’s just not trickling down.

This business is losing a lot of money on that much empty office space. Move this guy to a sub-leased mop-closet.

Per-employee productivity is waaay up.

Outdoors outfitting companies are having a banner year.

Just tell him the cancer of big government is doing a great job of eating up the body of it’s host. It’s almost death time.

The economy is improving? I might be able to find a job? Probably not in newspapers, though.

Today’s privately-owned Albuquerque Journal did NOT run this strip. Think it hits a little too close to home for the publisher…

For the ignorant blaming Obama, listen, the president is not in charge. The Federal Reserve is, and if you did your homework, you would see that they have controlled the US economy since its conception in 1910. And there is absolutely nothing Federal about them. Wake up already America!!

Not too good I would say.

All the money we gave to the banks: Invested in the stock market when it was around 7400. It was a much better investment that lending it to a bunch of chumps to generate jobs in a poor economy.

The ‘toon is what’s happened for some time in newsrooms across the country. In the “electronic media” the reporters are almost totally gone replaced by “big hair morons” reading inept scripts. It goes back some time to “an informed public is a dangerous public”. (that would be Karl- Rove, not Marx)

sounds like a NY Times publisher, not the daily Gazzette.
