Ah, the bane of being a musician – no one likes your practices, but they love the end product. Imagine what it sounds like when Third Day, Thousand Foot Krutch, U2, or Hillsong United practices! (or imagine their first practices!)

They should move in next to a nursing home and have all the residents turn their hearing aids down.

Groucho: “How much do you charge if you don’t practice?”Chico: “You couldn’t afford it.”

So funny . . . and so true too! There’s a reason why Benjamin Franklin came up with the old saying about how fish and company/visitors (and I’m sure it applies to relatives too!) stink after 3 days!!! A most unwanted, unappreciated situation indeed!!!!!

It would be nice if all music groups had insulated places to practice. I’m very selective in my taste, but open to most when out at a venue – just not when in my home or especially while sleeping (and I TRY to get a full 7-8 Hrs).
