A sign that the press is getting depressed.

I don’t usually comment though I love reading everyone else’s. I worked in downtown Manhattan in the early 1970’s. I watched the towers rise. Never thought I’d see them fall. My family lost friends and my stepson works frighteningly close to the WTC. Re yesterday’s strip: On Remembrance Day, 2001 (Canada’s version of the USA’s Veteran’s Day) Lynn did a wonderful strip regarding Sept. 11. I hope the link works. If not, type “Remembrance Day” into the archive search engine and “2001” into the year boxes.

@ Sunshine77—thanks a lot for sharing that link. That was a very poignant tribute.

The media also needs better spellers.

Also hyphenating wherever the come to the end of a line. I go back to hand-set type and we knew how to justify type to get even right margins and when to hyphenate. Now anyone who can type is considered a typesetter, and they’re not.

I stand corrected martesa. I’m decent at spelling but my grammer is by no means Strunk and White!
