My dog “smiles”. She has a slight under bite so it always appears as though she’s smiling a little bit. But whenever she’s panting, it looks as though she’s got the biggest grin on her face that stretches from ear to ear! She never fails to make me smile whenever I see her looking that way.
Some parents resent having raising pets compared to raising kids – I’ve done both, and my Cockatoo learned more easily than the kids at times. Many excentricities were identical!
