Why doesn’t Nelson eat at his own home?

Because his mother is a lousy cook.

I was under the impression they all lived together, so Nelson would be at his own home.

I think you better go back to using the girl fork, Nelson.

I understand the fork bit……but the kid needs to cut his own meat……doesn’t his hands work?

If I remember right, Dan and Sylvia and Nelson live next door, but Grandma and Grandpa are Nelson’s child care, which is why we see him in the day but not bedtime. And he’s only 5 or 6- little boys’ small motor skills aren’t very good yet, which is why they have so much trouble learning to write. He’ll be cutting his own meat in a couple of years.

Manly only extends so far, then time to call for Grandma.

Not manly to need your meat to be cut up Nelson(unless your an old person and nave no teeth).

Nelson grandma will be glad to cut your meat.

That is really adorable.. I’ve still got a fork I used to use when I was little.

I told opal I like my meat whole…

I hate those forks with only 3 tines instead of 4. Feels like eating with BBQ tongs or something. Also, I don’t remember every being unable to cut my meat with a knife.
