I don’t quite get this. Did someone give the boy a framed picture of his mother? What a present for a teenage boy! Now dad can use it – he can put in a picture of grandma, who doesn’t live in the same house. However, I am baffled by the number of people on TV shows who have framed photographs of THEMSELVES in their homes. I think that’s weird.
We re-gifted an unopened box of Pyrex French White serving dishes that we received as a wedding gift and used it as a wedding gift for a couple that we weren’t that close with but whose wedding preparations we ended up spending umpteen hours and hundreds of dollars on (we were young and didn’t know how to say no).
I’m sure the re-gifting and quick, untimely demise of the couple’s wedding were completely unrelated, but I never re-gifted for a wedding after that.
Most hated items just wound up hidden someplace. Bath products I don’t use go to the guest bath and I used to use unwanted colonges as room sprays (glad to say I get none now). Worst present I told on NAOQV- a soap on a rope dildo from my brother after I divorced my X- I hoped to find someone I hated enough to give it to, so it lived for years in the back of a closet, finally tossed it!
i regifted some adult “toys” i got at a wedding shower, my future ex said i should have kept them, but i didnt think a ministers wife should have such articles and he laughed his sox off at me – 15 years ago. now i wish i had kept them to sort of spice things up a bit now that we are a bit older and more boring. lolllllllll
