Allan V, Jobs didn’t make anybody buy anything. When the iPhone 4 came out, did your iPhone 3 stop working? Sure, he was a master of hype, but he made products that people wanted, and if sometimes the products didn’t have all the bugs worked out of them when they came to market it’s partly because he was innovating, doing things nobody had done before. The only coercion Jobs exerted was that he forced his competitors to try to keep up with him.

Evil and dictator are not synonyms until the person wearing the title of dictator makes them so. Unfortunately, it is extraordinarily rare when they do not.
