Rosa needs to take this boy by the hand and show him how to look good. She will need to be careful. Tiff pulled that on him once and he thought she cared for him in a romantic way. If Rosa just does it with a few gifts, a little at a time, she can make him a little easier on the eyes. And he won’t feel that he has lost the things that make him who he is.

I like his socks. At first, I thought they were bright blue, then I zoomed in and noticed that the socks had black polka dots. I haven’t purchased new socks in years, and all the socks I own are either black or white. What I wanna know is, WHERE DO I FIND SOCKS LIKE GUNTHER’S?!

And those Clark Kent glasses have got to go.

What’s worse? A nerdy geek, or a geeky nerd?

Seems to me that both Luann and Gunther are wrong in panel 4. Or am I being geeky for thinking his ploy clever (although the socks are bad)?

Well he’s not quite a hipster … Yikes, I think Gunth is regressing! His pants have shrunk 3 sizes.

His belt is out of the belt-loop. Fashion disaster.

Gunther has the geek chic of Leonard Hofstadter, combined with Raj’s tongue-tied paralysis around women. (I’m a Big Bang Theory geek.)

Don’t knock my buddy, Gunther. He’s going to be the next Bill Gates. He’s just trying to fit in a little better, now that he has Rosa to think about. But, Greg definitely has a problem drawing legs. Gunther’s are too stiff, and he’s leaning backwards, off balance and ready to fall out of the frame. Luann is more in balance because her head is forward and her arms are folded in front of her.

My geek husband wears white socks with everything, favors plain gray and olive-green tee shirts with randomly matching pants, and wore pocket protectors before computers came in. He’s a great provider, great guy, and I like him just as he is.

Round these parts those are called “wading pants”.
