I read this as “sh*tty little Rat” twice before I had some tea and my eyes focused properly.

Yeah, I’m a little surprised he’d offer them advice like that. It worked out well, but it was really disloyal. That’s the one thing I thought he’d have…I thought he was kind of like Bogey in Casablanca. My mistake. He won’t be as much fun from now on.

guess they never played Chutes & Ladders. In the Crocs case it needs to be Parachutes & Ladders.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen Rat have any contact with the Crocs at all before this.

therein lies the heart of the gag in today’s strip.

Well, only the crocs could get away with calling him the “shifty little rat”. Anyone else would have been been whacked (with a badminton racquet, baseball bat etc). I guess the rodent knows it is not wise to push carnivores too far, even if they are dumb as dirt.

Looks like rat gets a late Christmas present, a matching set of crock boots & belt.

Rat, when you tell the crocs something, you have to explain very carefully.

Watch out for that last step Bob……………….I mean blob

If a ladder doesn’t work, try a chute.
