I saw an ad recently for crayons that you mix together; when I was young, that happened if you left them out in the sun;-P
The baby could only come out green if the father was yellow instead of red, since the mother is blue.
Blue and yellow make green.
Obviously ol’ RED wasn’t the sharpest crayon in the “box”…. as a matter of fact, it looks like he wasn’t in the “box” at all…!!!

If the baby has a Turquoise maternal grandparent, then it could be a case of a dominant reasserting itself in the second generation . . .
But every schoolchild knows if you mix yellow and blue paint (or crayons) together you get green.
