Wonder if the guy in the car up ahead is giving Burl the ’We’re #1’ gesture?

Goodmorning my fellow Crustwoodians! I’m worried about Leaky. He only had two chocolate Santas and a tin of sardines with him when he disappeared.

Note the “BIG SALE” in the window in the background.

I wouldn’t recommend honking at folks here in TX. Everybody’s packing heat, legally or not. And they’ll use it on you. Hell, the Guv popped a coyote while he was jogging! And is that a star I see on the back of that guy’s car? Is Burl pi$$ing off the sheriff? He may be looking for some fine dining courtesy of the county. He’ll be waiting in a line there too. White bread, two slices of cheap baloney (I wouldn’t dignify it by calling it balogna) and black coffee served on a plastic tray with plastic utensils. Then there’s always Bubba Leroy telling you he thinks you’re cute.

I read about that, folks, it ain’t autobiographical.

    Morning all!

    Marg — He’ll be back, I’m sure.

At least chocolate Santas and sardines are more nutritious than whatever Joy would have packed him for lunch.

It’s a store full of giant underwear! LOL That’s why they’re offering “big deals.”

Patty is going to find school so relaxing, after a “vacation” at home.

BlueWaves — that plucky little kitty is so resilient!

Yeah, colorists work on the computer, and don’t change the cartoonist’s black lines.

The hat is drawn black to make sure it won’t look white , in papers that don’t print color versions — but then there’s no place open to fill with red.

And Mikie — how did you know I was about to ask?

Patience is not their strong suit. Noooooooooooo! (I have something in common with the Pennys. I think I’ll go to bed now and not get out until it’s time to go back to work.)

BTW online today, I found the perfect treat to make the Pennys for Christmas:

Amongst various chocolate truffle recipes… all involving good dark chocolate, butter, cream and other rich dairy stuff..

was one that called for mixing a tub of ready-made chocolate frosting with a cup of powdered sugar… and rolling little balls of it in cocoa.

All right!! Let’s hear a big Crustwood “mmmm”.

One thing that surprised me when “right on red” became legal was how patient people were who wanted to make a right turn but the car in front was going straight and so they had to wait for the green. I’ve never heard a beep in all these years. But Burl, full of the Christmas Spirit as usual, knows his “rights”.

And Susan, they would not be using real unsweetened cocoa, but one of those sweetened mixes that has something artificial in it. The other driver is probably not being as rude as they, but adjusting his mirror. The star may indicate a connection with law inforcement and he wants to get a look at them.

Can anyone read the sign on the door (after yes)? And the next window has “The Cookie Crumbles” but that’s not where they are going since it has to be around the corner. Will theirs be Maudlin, or the Athenian Grill?

Morning Crustwoodians! That includes you Leaky, wherever you are.

A few days ago I tried telling a joke that was pulled off. Probably because I used a word. I tried to disguise it using an “A” followed by two dollar signs and then it ended with a hole. Well, I guess that wasn’t enough camouflage because it was pulled. Since it also will fit with today’s comic, I am going to attempt it again. this time I am going to substitute it with the word jerk, but you will all know what it means! Maybe it will get passed the censors this time. Here goes round #2:

The other day I was driving home from work. It was a nice day and I was in a good mood. I even had my window open and was enjoying the cool air.

I came up to a red light. There was just one car in front of me. I noticed that the car had a bumper sticker that said Honk if you Love Jesus!

As I said, i was in a good mood, so I thought “what the heck”. I tapped on my horn.

The guy in the other car screamed at me. “The light is still RED you Jerk!”

    Have a good holiday everybody!

@Well open, It may, but this appears to be unappealling underwear, so I doubt anything suggestive is in line. A merry Christmas to all in any case! I’ll be working out in the morning! Goodnight all!
