Donald Trump: A lot of people - top, top, important people - ask me, Mr. Trump, why do you get so much respect from the candidates? The answer is simple: if you don't come to New York and kiss my backside, you cannot be a serious candidate! You're a loser, a clown, like Ron Paul! Roland: But what about our poll at Fox, Mr. Trump? We found that by a 5-1 margin, your endorsement is more likely to have a negative impact on voters! Trump: Who cares? Either way, my impact is huge, beyond huge! Roland: Good point - well played, sir!

As a New Yorker, I would be perfectly happy if Trump moved to Florida, or Texas, or LA, or…

Huge, huge, way huge, beyond huge — The Donald’s narcissism.

How true, Roland, how true.

I hope Trump has that effect on the Republican candidate during the GENERAL election.

Does GT still think Trump is popular with conservatives? If so, I’ve got a California solar company I’d like to sell him.

@Texas Tech & Salt Water Croc; I sympathize but your fellow Texans elected the village idiots Bush and Perry. Trump was dumped on us because his parents didn’t practice birth control. By the way, thanks for taking Glenn Beck off our hands.

Ron Paul is the only candidate that believes in small government, the Constitution being upheld, and staying the hell out of other countries. Not a bad idea. I’ve voted for him before and will again.
DylanThomas3.14159 about 13 years ago
C’mon all you conservatives who post here — why are you trying to dump Donald Trump as a fellow conservative? Whether or not you LIKE him is beside the point. The point: He just IS A CONSERVATIVE. It’s in his blood, his DNA. His lifetime predatory practices in the “free market” — resulting in a net worth approaching $3 billion (Forbes / Wall Street Journal) — prove it. Accept it.

“Trump is close to being bankrupt” Ever heard of evidence?
DylanThomas3.14159 about 13 years ago
Come on, conservatives. Where’s your evidence that Donald Trump is close to bankruptcy? Cough it up!
DylanThomas3.14159 about 13 years ago
Come on! Can’t wait till the Lord comes. The good commenters (including other conservatives) on this website want to know. Where’s your evidence? Or don’t you, being “conservative”, know what that means? Cough it up!
DylanThomas3.14159 about 13 years ago
There are good conservatives (such as Ron Paul) as well as bad conservatives, just as there are good liberals (such as LWP) and bad liberals. Admit it!

Trump did it to GT again- he has quit as the moderator of the debate. He says he wants to keep his options open to run as an independent candidate.

It’s ONE THING to recognize Trump for what he is, have a negative opinion, and vote against him based on your best judgment of his character. It’s ANOTHER THING entirely to hate him because you’re jealous of him and wish you had the money, position, power, etc., that he so obviously does have.
WaitingMan about 13 years ago
I don’t hate Donald Trump. He’s much too ludicrous to be a target of hatred.
DylanThomas3.14159 about 13 years ago
Perhaps I should reword: It’s not a good thing to be jealous Donald Trump’s money, position, power, success with beautiful women, ability to go anywhere in the world on a private jet on a moment’s notice, attend the Superbowl any year you choose, etc., etc., etc.
