why can’t she read it herself? A boss like her is why I am glad I retired early.

I’m slowly reading the book. I’m constantly surprised about how mean Jobs could be. He was a weird mix of being enlightened yet nasty.

I once had a boss who would get all fired up about business oriented motivational and self- improvement books and tape.He would try to get us to buy and listen to them. that would be torture, the commercials alone for that kind of crap bores me to death.

I had a boss that had us all watch a two hour training movie on how to answer the phone. I started making sarcastic remarks about the movie, but then the boss showed up, so that ended the only fun part of the training. He even told us that it was his second time watching it. He wanted to make sure that he didn’t miss anything from the first time he watched it. At least my department wasn’t made to take the written test afterwards.
