I would expect Gunther to know better. It is “Rosa and me”, not “Rosa and I”. As the object of a prepositional phrase, “me” is the correct form.

Does he know what Rosa wants? Is that what scares him?

It’s “Rosa and ME…” dump-dumb. Gunth, someday you and maybe your cartoonist have GOT to get that right. Or sit through another thousand years of English in Limbo. High.

Since Gunther is a nerd, he ought to use correct grammar. He should say, “About Rosa and me.” The object of a preposition, and all that.

Too new to strip to have ever seen Gunther kiss Luann. Can’t believe that could ever happen with him….she must have been the aggressor.

Gunther would never make that grammatical mistake but of course, Greg isn’t as smart as his character – he WOULD (and did) make that mistake!

REally… luann can sometimes be self-centered… now thats a surprise coming from a teenager :p

If the editor(s) at Universal let the HUGE “I – ME” GRAMMAR MISTAKE through, it may have been the way Greg wanted it voiced,and they may have agreed. That or indeed it is egregious enough of an error to justify us charging Greg’s home with torches, pitchforks, tar and feathers.

Thanks to you & Dave53. I just started reading Luann about the time the school put on West Side Story, so I’ve missed an awful lot of stuff.

“Rosa and I”…maybe even just thinking about Rosa got Gunther flustered enough to make that mistake? (Actually I make that mistake a lot myself, so I’m just trying to excuse it, ha ha:) ) It’s nice to see Luann figuring prominently into the strips this week, I don’t mind that Gunther is still in the room. I do wish that Quill would give into the temptation that is Tiffany. If you want funny, that girl is hilarious! Though, she doesn’t mean to be, but oh well…:)

Actually, I think humor, talent, and kindness CAN change over time, affected by a number of situations in life. But good for Gunth, anyways.
