I don’t know what she’s thinking, but I’m pretty certain the writers aren’t getting Lila married.

She could get married, have a couple of weeks of drama with the old hag, and divorce him. Then she’d get a good settlement and she could buy as many shoes as she wants and go with Annie to Barcelona. Spanish men are fun!

Some mothers just can’t let their sons go and when their sons do marry the girl they wanted, the mothers get meddlesome.
