I actually got to like spinach and broccoli, but I wouldn’t touchbrussels spouts with a bargepole!

Once you get the hang of handling the bargepole, brussel sprouts turn out to be delicious.

Back in the day, I coached a little league team that went (0-16), If only I had known! :)

No cabbage for me… The reason kids don’t like spinach, you can’t boil it and serve it. Try sauteed spinach with garlic and olive oil and at the end break a egg in it and scramble it in lightly.A little garlic salt helps.

In reality, ALL kids who play sports today get trophies, even those whose teams go 0-16! Thye have no idea why they participate. Oh, later they figure out it was to ease Mom & Dad’s guilt trip (about not being a good parent).

Charlie Brown would eat that stuff after every baseball game. YUCK!!! I don’t mind spinach or broccoli.

Even The Bad News Bears got a can of beer from Buttermaker after the game.
