    Imagine this, an Artist that might now have a dibilitating disease or affliction. And this is his best work. I think it’s Great!

    I’ve not commented for as long as I can. John McPherson is not funny and he cannot draw. Or, if he can draw, then his cartooning is the ugliest I’ve ever seen. Just because “Family Circus” or “Beetle Bailey” or whatever is no better does not make Mr. McPherson a good cartoonist. I remember years ago, someone asked me to explain why Gary Larson’s “Far Side” was funny. I couldn’t explain it, and to this day it remains one of my favorites. John McPherson’s “Close to Home” is the worst I’ve ever seen.
