That’s just it. The anti-depressants have worn off.If she weren’t depressed then she would CARE that the prices have gone up so much. And the Health Insurers raise the prices on blood pressure and heart medications so that you get upset, have a fatal infarction and get handed over to the Life Insurance company.
Before I left factory work, it seemed that every factory had at least one prozac queen. I am not being biased against women, it just seems that women are more often put on these types of meds than men are.
The industry has to do what the “people” want. Many of the right wing religious zealots want medicine that does not make you feel good, the idea(to them) is that you suffer through it. Mj and the older drugs made people feel good, to the point they would take it if they weren’t sick – we can’t have that, now.
I still remember Catholic school, where the nuns said “offer it up as a prayer!”, like suffering is a prayer. Bring on a new Inquisition.

Maybe if she’d come up with better cooking she wouldn’t need the anti-depressants!

My problems with depression improved dramatically when I stopped taking anti-depressants. I feel like a person, not a zombie.

Pryor’s genius was that he was never funnier than when he was teaching his most profound lessons. Russians call it ‘laughter through tears’.
