Beni: Why's your brother sitting in the van all by himself? Alice: My Mom sprayed his room with floral bouquet air freshener. Because a stinkbug crawled out of his backpack and exploded, even though all the out-of-body experience Peteys were sure they'd made it go away by ignoring it really hard, after Petey'd spent half the day frozen in panic because there was a stinkbug in the living room to begin with. So Petey's not going back in the house till his room stops smelling like floral bouquet. Beni: Makes sense to me!

Aah, so the truth is revealed… force of mind cannot win against stink bugs. And, as Peter is not reknown for his love of fresh air, that really ony leaves the car.

If the stinkbug exploded in the living room, why did mom spray Petey’s room?
