Grandma: Finish your dinner, or no dessert for you.
Grandma: Finish your liver, or no TV.
Grandma: Clean your plate, or you can't play outside.
Gabby: Have you read "The Hunger Games"?
Grandma: Why? I play them every day.
My mom used to make us eat liver and lima beans. I couldn’t stand either, so I cut them up into very tiny pieces and poured ketchup all over them in order to eat them.
It sets up bad lifetime eating habits to force children to clean their plates. It causes overeating and obesity. (And no one should be forced to eat liver. ick ick ick)

“The Hunger Games” are just terrible.
“The Running Man” made better use of that concept.
So did “The Club”. (It’s a 2008 video game. Look it up and download the demo from Gamespot. It’s great. The full version’s a must-buy)

Parents make kids eat such large meals that they don’t want to eat and we wonder why there is an obesity epidemic.
