Rat: What's this couch doing out here on the curb? Pig: It's neighbor Bob's. It's how he gets rid of stuff he doesn't want. A lot of people do it. Rat: It's just that easy? Pig: Yup. Pig: Some things I just shouldn't mention.
Been there and done that. About 15 years ago i was doing storm clean up. We pile a big load of pine from some down tress at the road. Whike we were going hauling a load to the dump some one ‘stole’ the rest of the pile, for fire wood I guess. It was so funny they stole what we were being paid to haul off as trash. Heck, we would have helped them load it.
for many years my method for getting rid of unwanted jetsam (broken washers, dryers, fridges, water heaters, etc) was to place it near the corner of my fence and garage with a sign “not for sale”; sure enough, someone would steal it

Aww. Nice of Rat, however, to make Pig available to us at a fair price.Hey, Pig: you should mention that it’s Bloomsday!

Okay… drop the sign and back away from the pig slowly. That’s it, now put your hands behind your back and do the hokey pokey.

Soon rat will be in the adjoining box with a “Free” sign hung around his neck. Nobody will take him.

I tried to sell an old TV for $5 on a garage sale, and it wouldn’t sell. I raised the price to $20 and it went right away.

WE all know that, if someone does take Pig, Rat will go and get him back. Who else puts up with that rodent?!?
GoodQuestion Premium Member over 12 years ago
I am surprised that rat didn’t put Pastis out there, too ……☻

I’m thinking someday Li’l Guard Duck will attack Rat for the way he treats Pig. Pig is Duck’s owner, after all.
