Am I the only one who saw the second panel first and thought she was wearing some kind of bizarre gas mask until reading the first panel?

Uh-oh. Now Pastis is doing VISUAL puns, too. This opens a whole new world of hurt for us sensitive types. You get on cartoon-Pastis’s case and stay with it, Rat!Look at me: I’m actually cheering Rat on!See what you’ve done, already, Pastis?!

I guess it’s not just her phone number you have to get….I can only imagine what she’s wearing south of the border……

I have a new theory: These pun strips where rat gets on Pastis’s case is an attempt to get more people to like rat! (or, at least, to tolerate him)
