It’s best you not imagine what I think of John Lennon’s empty philosophy. Its more self-consistent practitioners ruined or destroyed tens if not hundreds of millions of lives. On the other hand, Lennon made some interesting confessions to his longtime agent about what his beliefs and doubts really were and if I could remember exactly how to find the source, I’d point you to it. He got wiser with age, it seems.

Susie should appreciate the reality of the situation: She was visited by Calvin and has virtually nothing on her. (i.e. water balloon, beach ball sized snow ball, mud, etc.)

What’s the point in having a secret identity, if everyone recognizes you? How did Suzie know that Stupendous Man is really meek, mild-mannered Calvin?

Exactly. People continue to buy the idea that the government will take care of their every need when in fact, evil people triumph when the populace gives the power to the government. They can control the populace like a puppet on a string. People never learn from history. It is a shame.

I think this is a commentary on how girls’ imaginary play is expected to be much more grounded in reality than boys’. I mean, for every she-ra and my little pony there are like thirty superheroes, not even counting the ones that boys make up on their own.

I’m such a computerloser, too, sorry. Always I must beg my son for help. When he was a little child he came to me with his questions and I was proud to help him. One day everything turned round and he couldn’t understand this for a long time!

You’re not a loser with computers at all. I just made a bad link. Sorry about that. I’m not that good at links. You have to copy the URL, and then paste it in the search bar. Or you could just go on youtube and type in the song. Hope this helps. : )

“The Longest Cocktail Party”. A book written by one of The Beatles’ insiders. I forget who. Someone who was there. I used to have a copy but I loaned it out and never got it back.

I really hate it when that happens! That’s why I no longer loan out any of my things (especially books, CDs and DVDs) to anybody — no matter who they are. I’ve lost too many things to people in the past — even people I thought I could trust — who had absolutely no idea that the word “loan” meant they only had temporary use of whatever it was they were “borrowing” and when they were done with it, they were then supposed to give it back . . . only they didn’t — or wouldn’t (not sure which).

    :-(

How is it that no one recognized Clark Kent and Superman as being one-in-the-same person — not even a journalist as “smart” as Lois Lane (and he didn’t even wear a mask!) . . . but Susie Derkins had absolutely no problem at all immediately recognizing Calvin as being Stupendous Man?!? Obviously, Clark Kent wasn’t surrounded by people that were anywhere near as smart as the people in Calvin’s life!!!!!
