Oh geez look at that. Some punk kid graffitied the mailbox right in front of my building! Well, I can't get too outraged about that. Back in the day, I did my own fair share of tagging... Hold on... What? You? You are a graffiti artist?!! I was pretty troubled in my teens. I rolled with some messed up dudes, and I left tags all over this town... I don't believe you. Yeah, well, just look over there... Right on the windowsill... Where? Here use this mini Maglite and look under the bottom left sill. Wow. I can hardly even see that... Yeah. I said I was a graffiti artist, but it just so happens I was in extremely courteous graffiti artist... How the heck were you even able to write that small with spray paint? I use a special airbrush attachment.

Some neighbourhood that is. The windowsill hasn’t been painted in 21 years.

actually it’s brilliant! A discreet tag will last over 20 years while one out in the open will be painted over much sooner.

Yeah Monty is the anti-James Dean.
Rebel without a clue. I do have empathy for him in a way,
because, in 1965 I stole some BB’s for my Daisy
air rifle from a Western Auto Store. I still feel guilty to this day.

According to a MAD magazine article, smartest kids make the lowest marks. True that: Smarter kids make their marks lower on the walls so the janitors have an easier time removing them. Dumber kids make the higher marks, where it’s harder for the janitors to clean them off.

Clearly Monty paid for the airbrush attachment with his street creed, because he sure has none left now.
