Ahhhh. How the true origins of inspiration can sometimes disappoint the public. Reminds me of way back in grade school when another student buried the sprouting beans wrong, and the roots extended above the soil.

This shows Ruthie as even more clever than simply “inspiration”.
So the Sunday strips are the repeats but the weekday strips (incl. Saturday) are new?
Sometimes they slip up and show new weekday strips here, only to make a switch later, confusing the late readers of early comments.
