You’d think adults would have learned that, by now… never let ‘em see it coming…. – I guess that’s why it’s called “Tuna Surprise”, "Meatloaf Surprise, “Fill in the blank Surprise”, etc….
Reminds me of how my brother used to act about certain kinds of food. It sometimes almost seemed as if taste was beside the point; if it looked ‘wrong,’ he wanted nothing to do with it.

We called it cold food, because our mom would make us seat at the table until we ate it. I once held until midnight. Five whole hours.

My mother’s cooking was the worst; Brother and I stuffed a lot in the hollow legs of the kitchen table.
I LOVE waking in the morning, but I realize many do not.
