Humor can help in many ways, especially when we can see the funny side of our own situations, admittedly not always easy. Alex’s observation is pretty funny and when Leo doesn’t see the humor in it, she’s cool to back off. In a less stressed out moment, perhaps Leo can have a laugh on himself and Sherm’s obvious mis-tango.

this isn’t even a comic. Not ever funny. I don’t see why anyone would like this. I would call it a doodle sarcasm, Not a comic or cartoon.

If it were simply a matter of a stammer – but in Leo’s case, I think the EID that sent him home also caused some brain damage. .Its nice that Alex was paying attention.

Communication is essential, especially when one or both has an impediment. You can’t expect your spouse to be a mind reader. It’s the surest path to disillusionment when your expectations run head on into reality.

It does seem somewhat sickie and twisted that folks who rant against this comic feel compelled to read it night after night and make derogatory remarks about it and about others who do find it amusing. Why don’t you go read something more to your liking.

I’ve read this particular strip over and over, and all I can see is a story about a young guy struggling with aphasia from a concussion, trying to get things right with his job and his goofy girlfriend. I just can’t see any diatribe or anything slimy about Americans here. Are we reading the same comic strip?
