And what if a teacher wants to do shopping? Drop off and wait? I can see Crank now waiting in the lady’s dept at a store.

They’ll look so cute standing in small clusters on the corner with their books and lunch boxes..

So was this agreement made with the Teachers Association, or the teachers themselves?

Wouldn’t the teaches union prefer to have it’s members chauffeured in stretch suv’s with with “beverages,” rather than clunky, uncomfortable buses?

And no comment from Crankshaft???

Right! Why shouldn’t teachers take advantage of being chauffeured. It will give them sort of a vacation from dealing with the traffic going to and coming from school.

Hey Andy, have you considered the fact that the teachers have to arrive at the school before the students? I wonder what the other drivers think of that.

Besides the fact that the teachers are spread out all over the place, including many (most?) don’t even live in the school district, this makes even less sense than you’d think.

1.) Saves fuel and traffic frustration for the teachers.

2.) Keeps the drivers on the job.

Yessiree, this is certainly “a quarter-inch from reality,” as Batiuk likes to say. And are we to assume that the non-stop shenanigans are going to reach into a second week? I can hardly wait.
