I’ll believe that a squinty-eyed sailor can gain super strength from eating canned spinach. I’ll believe a caveman can fall into a scientist’s time machine. I’ll even believe a sentient beagle can have a doghouse that’s larger on the inside than it is on the outside.
I will never believe, however, that people would line up to purchase a copy of Dinkleberg’s latest memoir.
It’s normal for fans to bring their own copies of books to a signing, but how will Dinkle react when he realizes they won’t be buying extra copies from him?
Standing in line to throw the book at him while singing The Who’s, We’re not gonna take it chorus, We’re not gonna take it, Never did and never will, We’re not gonna take it, Gonna break it, gonna shake it, Let’s forget it better still!
Once a band director, always a jerk, I guess. Are there really that many people interested in a book about marching bands? The one guy has FIVE copies! I’m sure he doesn’t have that many friends.
There’s actually some kind of market for Harry’s book? Must be people wanting to relieve their glory years in a HS marching band, or, people looking for new ways to sell “quality” products to an unsuspecting public.

I didn’t think he’d sell that many books, unless his obnoxiousness turns them off at time of signing.
