That has to be the rear entrance or something. Even as daft as Locher and Brozman are, there’s no way they could possibly be continuously forgetting what the science museum looks like every other day, is there?
OK, I got it: They’re trading off days. One day one guy draws the museum, the other day, the other guy draws it. And neither artist has ever seen the other one’s work. They both just mutually agreed that the building should look “science museum-y,” without ever coming up with a reference sketch that the two would both work from.
Both artists just blithely plug along, illustrating every other day’s strip, confident that their counterpart has similar ideas, and is drawing similar science museums.
What is it with this stupid site? I write “crap” (without the quotes) and automatically bleeep is substituted. Who’s the 100 year old virgin that designed the net nanny around here?
Panel-Panner said: “If thoughts could kill, then Johnny Blank has killed Tracy a dozen times.”
I think you’re on to something here: Johnny thinks he’s a telepathic killer, and if he just broadcasts enough of his “Tracy must die” thoughts, Tracy will indeed drop dead.
Unfortunately for him, his power is not telepathic but optical–he’s the guy about whom it’s said, “if looks could kill.” But with that mask on, his looks aren’t getting out…
Hey, it makes as much sense as anything in this strip!
Once again, we have entered the DL zone. Time means nothing here. How many WEEKS would it take to rehearse a play? Let alone memorize entrances, exits, marks, body language, etc? How many weeks has this rehearsal gone on?
And we are back to the Garfielding of this strip. Panel one, setup. Panel two, setup. Panel 3, Garfield responds to Jon, Odie, a mouse, a spider, Nerml, et al with a smartass remark or putdown.
After today’s posts and ‘observations’ even Locher’s stoutest supporters (The Pretorian Guard et al), will ‘pat’ themselves on the ‘back’ with congratulations on having distanced their respective selves from this major embarrasment.
margueritem, Is that you in the nurses uniform (Flight Suit’s link) leaving Frog Applause to ‘NURSE’ Dick Tracy back to what it was in the old time days ?
Seems that by tomorrow the Play has begun. Lizz and Sam are suitably installed in the audience. And Nothing is even seen to ‘pinch’ one of the ‘stage’ guns and, - will laterl shoot it, and ‘SURPRISE’ (!) It will somehow ’FIRE’ REAL bullets.
Beats me ! So that means whatever he was ‘feeling up’ in his pockets earlier on, was not a real gun. All this is truly puzzeling (?)
Locher certainly knows how to write a “gripping” mystery, with little anecdotes that fool you all the time. How does he do it ? It has to be that Digital Thermal Pack thing.
And they have been “fooling” the Editors at TMS for years..
Garfield: Panel three-punchline delivered via Garfield thought balloon. The reader laughs.
Tracy: Panel three-sinister punchline delivered via Johnny Nothing. thought balloon. The reader retches.
Hey everyone, it’s draw Johnny Nothing day. It’s easy. Just trace a human head, put a collar around it, and voila! You’ve copied the Reuben caliber art seen over and over again in this adventure. Requiring the artist to do even less than usual on this strip. Not only do we get the science museum panel ad nauseum, we get the featureless closeup of Johnny’s “face” over and over! Next adventure, Tracy fights the sinister “Stick Figure Man”.
I got it! The Science Museum is the opposite of TARDIS, the interior (presumably) remains constant, but the outside is always expanding and contracting.
so, stay tooned for the first exciting line of the drama - which will take up the rest of the wretched week, unless it’s dedicated to introducing the stage and or audience

It’s a SCIENCE museum. It uses super science to keep expanding and contracting, sort of like a beating heart. Impressive, huh?

There isn’t?
I don’t know how things are where you live Flight Suit, but here, we have several science museums nearby. I attend all the plays they have.

There, net nanny that!!!

The bad thing about this version of the museum is that nobody will be able to get in

Is this the rehearsal, still? If it is the opening night, no one came.

Flightsuit mentions the possibility that our “artists” may not read each others work-this might be the case-do you blame them?
