A DRE is a “drug recognition expert.” That should have had a footnote.

Next you know he’ll want payment for these “gems” he is about to drop and how does anyone know that what he has to offer isn’t a lot of embellishment to a scant shred of real witness info.

Even in a best case there will be a fine(s), drunk driving class, a breathalyzer hooked up to his car, weekly check ins and it may come with a work release jail time if he is a “frequent flyer”.

I bet he has past experience with driving under the influence and is afraid of getting the book thrown, so is trying his best to leverage away all the consequences or to have it down to barely significant.

If Joe and Mike are looking for ideas – have Lizz and Lee be the primary detectives on a case.

Is it me or does Tracy look different, especially second to last panel.

User Blaine Stankell can’t offer the cops much that they don’t already know, unless he has more to offer than we’ve been led to believe: “Dollar Bill” Dolan has already been identified; the most Blaine can do (so far as we know) is tie him to the park. That might be helpful in eventually leading back to Pouch, but that remains to be seen. I don’t think Blaine can “buy” much Positive Influence with so little juice….

Given that Dollar Bill had been selling coke light (because Cheesecake was putting so much product up her nose) there certainly wasn’t enough in the glove box for an intent to distribute charge… Actually, if he had it up his nose and that was why he was speeding it’s almost surprising there was any left. If it’s first time with the drug possession in many states the penalty for speeding through the red light might be worse than for the small amount of cocaine. But Blaine isn’t being shown as the sharpest knife in the drawer and we are never told what state Tracyville is in to check their actual laws.

That’s a lie. Voluntarily cooperating with police can, indeed, hurt.
