As we were starting to suspect, her telepathy is not working, but she isn’t telling Vera about that right now and being shut off from the sun isn’t going to help her much to regain her strength.

How are they going to get out of this? She cannot connect with Honeymoon.

It’s good to see that Allcad didn’t take advantage of Mad Mindy while she snoozed!

What will tomorrow bring;More MM, Honeymoon at another movie, Diet gagging on a cigar, Tracy sipping coffee from an MCU mug, maybe Annie shows up. If she does I wish she’d bring Santiago with her. That young lady knows how to defend herself!

Vera looks like he is rolling with it and Mysty just plain looks wiped out. Since “Super powers” are off the table I am looking forward to some good old fashion flat footed clews chasing.

We know where this is going…Alldid is going to place clues in the strip to what is really going on, so when he “returns from their honeymoon” they will be published and Sam (who we know reads the strip) will pick up on them.

On the behalf of all Californians, I’d like to apologize to the East Coast. Why? Smoke from our wildfires is being blown all the way across the continent and affecting air quality there. I’ve seen video of NYC with so much smoke, visibility has been cut down to just a couple of miles. Is this affecting Canada too? Anyway, we’re sorry. :-(

It looks like Alldid still draws with pencil on paper. Or he’s inking his own drawings. Is that SOP? I still wonder if he’s a one-man team. (I guess he has to be in his current situation.) But will Archival let these new strips be published, or does he think that only he is worthy enough to gaze upon them?

Plus the effects of knowing everyone is thinking she has elope with Vera.

I think today’s panels are juxtaposed…panel 2 seems like it should be panel 1 and vice versa…it reads better

Maybe Vera can leave clues in his comic strip if he submits new ones.

Okay, that’s a new development. Archival’s ring not only reflects Mysta’s zaps back at her, it also somehow blocks her telepathy, and, tires her out. But, even though Mysta can’t reach out to Honeymoon (and, vice versa,) can Honeymoon sense Mysta’s presence? If, using Tracy style detection, the squad has an general idea where Alldid, and, Mysta are being held, can Honeymoon steer them moredirectly?

Since Vera is being shown at the drawing board, Sam won’t have to follow the trail of repeat comic strips. Hmm…has he seen the society page yet about the wedding?

From what I have read so far, Archival has covered all his bases. Does he keep Mysta and Vera around until he gets bored?

Just what we need – a Super(woman) story that’s all about kryptonite. And we still don’t particularly know what this Super(woman) can do yet.

Poor Mysta, stuck wearing that stupid costume 24/7.

Especially after seeing the BW link that Gweedo gave us (above), suddenly, it occurs to me, how much the present day Vera Alldid looks like Junior – just a different haircut!

That ring somehow short circuits her abilities by affecting her nervous system.

Somehow I think Diet Smith & the super drone (or whatever it is we saw yesterday) will figure into rescuing Mysta & Alldid somehow.

Now they tell us! After all our speculation about how Mysta’s telepathic linkage with Honeymoon would lead to her rescue, the more recent suspicion that, exhausted and weakened by The Magic Ring, she’s lost her telepathic ability (temporarily, we hope) is substantiated. Maybe the paradigm can be reversed: maybe the lack of telepathy will arouse suspicion in Honeymoon, and that will lead to a rescue mission through the aid of Pop-Pop. Otherwise, unless Diet Smith’s new technological breakthrough enables drone hyper-spying on Brock’s fortress-mansion-prison (sorta like the Bastille, which fell a week ago in 1789), what hope is there?!
