They are going to “seize power”! That’s a copy d’état! He apparently doesn’t respect the title, “ambassador.” And, of course, killing Tracy, who stands in his way, is first on his agenda.

Marina, droppping her compimentary drink, is shocked by such an attack on her idol. I’m sure she’s shocked at what she has gotten herself into!

Why would you invite someone new to a rally that reveals your diabolical plot if you don’t know what their reaction or response will be?

We’re definitely not dealing with a Brainiac over here, are we?

The story is no longer just silly, it’s predictably silly,

Other than that it’s been fabulous! LOL!

I confess. As much a fan of Gould’s Moon People as I am, much as I would love for the original Moon Maid to return – Hollywood death and amnesia game – and hey, Mike’s brought back so many dead bad guys anyway – nevertheless,

I’m having difficulty hanging in with this story.

Oh, and while we’re at it, we got another „Kill da Twacy“ arc!

Good morning™, diabolical plot hatchlings !

Marina is being a little obvious unless in their ardor, the Moon rebels are eating up their prideful feelings in anticipation of an Earth coop and pay her no mind. I hope she plays cool and doesn’t make a mad dash because she’ll never make the door.

Got a Feeling Sunday’s Strip is going to be good…

The ranting maniac, the murderous threat to Tracy, and the shocked and horrified damsel…Now this is what we have been waiting for! This is the type of cliffhanger we would find in a Republic Serial. This is an excellent strip today and a welcome development in the story. Let’s hope we can keep up this tension and intrigue!

The daily Phantom has been shot twice [big pool of black blood] and left to die in the himalayas … So perhaps DT will also be near the end.

Obviously, Marina is going to rescue Tracy in all this confusion. Hope the storytellers will let her stay alive through it all.

Marina: “But…but…I’m crushing on him!”

LOL, I love radicals, they seem to think people they don’t like will happly sit and wait till they are assasinated.

But then what will you call your comic strip?

I hope Tracy brought Bribery’s ring with him or he will become a roasted Dick

My suspicions that Marina will sacrifice herself to save Dick Tracy are growing stronger and stronger.

Marina’s attendance is no fluke. She’ll be the bait in Ro-Zan’s trap for Tracy. Will Ro’ go old-school and dangle her over the lava flow that heats the subterranean enclave?!? He obviously thinks his romance with Mysta has compromised her in some way — but how? Will his fatal flaw be not accounting for Honeymoon’s experience in helping out her Pop-Pop?…

Who vetted Marina for this? If you’re plotting to take over anything (whether it be a corporation, city, country, or world) you are cautious about bringing in more people. You carefully see if they share your beliefs and goals. You don’t just bring in a random friend, “You’re looking depressed tonight. I’m going to a party where we’re plotting to kill some people – why don’t you come along?”

For the importance not shooting off your mouth without being sure who you are talking with see Gilbert & Sullivan’s The Grand Duke.

it’s not even a recruitment drive, it’s an all-out declaration of war… what was the purpose of even bringing Marina into this situation by Sloe-Gin?… because she’s connected to Thorin and they can use her as leverage?…

I suppose tomorrow and in the week ahead, this storyline will be a cross between H.G. Well’s “War of the Worlds” and a television episode of “The Invaders”.

OFF TOPIC: It was such a quiet day. A tranquil day. The kind of day that makes you want to kidnap little puppies so you can pet them on their little heads. And then I decided to do final read/edit on the new book. I’m bleeding inside, here!

I’m a bit confused. Ro-Zan was originally introduced as the Ambassadors deputy and recently was introduced to Marina as the Deputy Governor, which is it? Is it a script mistake?

Is Ro-Zan the Deputy Governor in the “New State”, meaning that we will see the “new governor” soon? Or is Ro-Zan one of those who went from Corporal to commander as a dictator?

What a great Saturday Setup for a climactic Sunday strip! Tezla, a hottie both in looks and in outburst speech, sets off Marina, still pining for Tracy and definitely not happy with the notion that he must be “eliminated”! Will she be able to exit the big cabal meeting to warn Thorin and/or Tracy about Ro-Zan’s plot? Will she give her life in the effort, the tear-jerker I have suspected (and proposed in comments) for a long time?
