Chuck’s original rendered ladies certainly have their own identity. She smacks of an “equine” countenance; P. 3.’s long face. LOL ! One drive down one to go…
This story is notable as it is definitely set in today’s computer era. Mike has characters use fixed payphones on occasion, and computers are seldom so intensively used
So an update on the bombshell revelation that Comics Kingdom (CK) is not only carrying this strip, but was providing strips ahead of time! Today (June 11) CK added no new strips to the ones that were there yesterday, which were through Sunday, June 16. However, the On The Fastrack and Popeye strips have been running 7 days ahead for a few months now, every since they changed to the new format for their website on February 28. Note that if you try those two strips, the default date will always be today’s strip, and you have to specify the date in your URL either manually or through their interface to get an upcoming date. The same appears to be true for DT; that is, the default strip today is the June 11 strip.
So it is unclear what CK intends to do, and what Tribune Content Management will allow them to do.
1-SAM: Wha cha watching? YAUC (Yet Another Unnamed Character): This isn’t a TV dum-dum…
2-…I’m checking those flash drives that were retrieved from Gordo’s colon. One is encrypted. SAM: OH HO! Probably has perno on it!
3-YAUC: And the other with the easily transferrable Crypto Funds on it ISN’T encrypted! SAM: Can I have the one with the perno after you crack the password? Try “NUDES” – all caps. That’s what I would use. Or “NAKEDLADIES” – all caps, no spaces.

Half a million dollars is nothing to sneeze at. It seems that the blackmailers didn’t get everything from him.
