Angels and guardian spirits, oh my! I guess Sam is the “guardian spirit,” but she didn’t get a good look at him, so it’s still open to speculation. I’m not sure what they’ll do about that.
Mister pragmatic is only concerned that they are being watched regardless who is doing the watching. Will he hurry up the Borden bilking and then leave town before MCU can tighten the noose ?
Considering that it was the other assistant who saw the “guardian spirit” it isn’t too surprising that Miss Phym did not get a good look at him. For that matter, Gabriel wouldn’t have anything to worry about if he hadn’t invited Borden, his latest victim, to come to his office in the first place. But since when did logic have anything to do with this storyline?
Story line has gone slow. Stakeouts are boring even in cartoon land. Time for B.O. (Bob Owen) Plenty to turn up with his chicken “Henrietta” in the Batmobile and stir things up / create some action. If anyone can blow a stakeout or major case, it is Bob Owen and Tracy will be super not impressed.
“It does open up some disturbing possibilities. Perhaps it’s time for me to get out while the getting’s good to some place without an extradition treaty with the U.S. and leave you two in the lurch.”
1- SARAH: I wrote a new Will for Borden leaving everything to you in the event of his upcoming suicide. Check it over.
2- IRONBUTTS: Did you include conjugal visits with his current girlfriend? SARAH: Sorry, no. My keyboard stopped working at that point because I puked all over it.
3- IRONBUTTS: No worries. She seems to be the type who follows the money anyway. Say…how come you and Cherry Tart have been working for me for years without ever having made a move on me? You know I’m rich.
SARAH: Uhhh, well we, ummm, don’t believe office romances are appropriate. We don’t want to get in trouble with HR. IRONBUTT: I’m the Head of HR and in that capacity, I declare office romances to be A-OK!
SARAH:OH SHlT!!! I’ll let Cherry know immediately! Did I ever tell you about my issues with permanent menstruation? Yep – 365 days a year. IRONBUTTS: So, there’s one day… SARAH: 366 in Leap Years! WHEW! Close call there.
OOOOOT: Well, I now have a new laptop. Horribly expensive, it’s taking getting used to, and I nearly collapsed from the heat while B***B’s check verification machine went down. All things considered, a horrible experience.
I forgot who and where someone posted about examples of story telling in this format and the pacing that is important in it. Can someone post it again? I’m interested in looking at it. Thanks.

“And did you get a good look at our guardian spirit, my dear?” Does this mean he believes in guardian angels like those of the Catholic faith?
