I dare say that Miss Drivel spends time at the gym and to good effect. I can’t believe we are seeing the bruised and battered results where I would expect a buttoning-up-the-case talk. I don’t think it was the “little beat down” that loosened her tongue but the urge to do as much damage as possible to Bordy and Dribble.

Gabriel doesn’t hang out a shingle, “We’re in the blackmail business.” Secretary wanted to embarrass Boss, and wouldn’t have known it would turn into a blackmail plot. I guess at some point, as Eline was smacking secretary’s head against the floor, Borden might have mentioned the attempted extortion and there was enough consciousness left for it to register.

One wonders, did a tiny light went off in the secretary’s head, “Maybe this wasn’t a smart idea.”?

So now she will get arrested for assault, and then exposed for the affair. Smart.

Looks like everything about this case is going to be handed to Dick Tracy on a silver platter.

1- TRACY: At first I was disappointed to be called away from Officer Jones’ birthday striptease but this is almost as good…

2- WHATS HERNAME: She sucker punched me, see? I could handle the likes a her twice a day if I know it’s coming. Anyway…

3- I know Tracy always needs a Deus Ex Machina to solve a case so it appears that I took a beatin’ just to provide it so here it is: Fatty at 4T was blackmailing Borden about the affair he was having because I told Fatty about it out of jealousy. FURTHERMORE, though there’s no reason why I should even know it, Fatty was also blackmailing Pierce until Pierce ended it by topping himself.

TRACY: I’m not sure how any of that helps me. Thanks a lot for making me miss the birthday striptease – moron. Sheesh!
