So, Ro-Zan’s reason for going to Smith Industries, specifically, was to spy on their plans! I didn’t think about that, but then I didn’t know that Diet Smith had plans to “reboot” the Space Coupe. Not so long ago, he was done with all the space stuff for good, but it seems there has been a change of plans.

So…Stark International is going to help with a coup…for a coupe?

Is Aberli a known colleague of Posey Ermine?

Today’s strip raises several disturbing questions. Why does Aberli need to explain the meaning of Raylene to Rozie? Why does Aberli need a working space coupe? Why didn’t Rozie just fly the one he was piloting to Rozie instead of that nonsense at Smith Industries? How did an isolated Lunarian get in touch with a big-shot mobster? How did a big-shot mobster get in touch with an isolated Lunarian? Why is a mobster wanting to help a Lunarian invasion? Which one of these sleazeballs is going to turn on the other first?

And, of course, the leftovers: Why wasn’t Rozie punished for his crimes and whose body is in the Egyptian mummy case found at the South Pole…

And why should I expect the strip to make sense after this long series of disappointments?

Well Alex Raymond of Flash Gordon fame would have liked this story. Maybe even Chet Gould. Surely more interesting than stories involving dead villains clones or the nth “Will kill DT” story. This strip Is a zombie trying desperately to look alive. This Is an ok attempt.

Every time this strip goes into science fiction I assume the writers have writer’s block.

Considering that the last time we saw Rosie he was under sentence of death from the Moon Governor, for murder and attempted coup, and now he shows up claiming to be an emissary for MG; shouldn’t the good guys (Tracy, Mysta, Diet, &c) be starting to worry about the health of MG and his crew, and about the state of things at the South Pole? Do they have a way to communicate with the Moon Colony there?
